HYDRATION = there is no life without water, nor a good skin
The topic of hydration cannot be treated in any other way than comprehensively. It’s a big topic, very, very, very important. We all know the theory of hydration, but unfortunately the the majority fail to follow it.
Hydration is the key to maintain a healthy and beautiful body, including skin.
Hydration and skin
It may be surprising information that 80% of the problems your skin points out, whether it’s acne, too dry, too oily skin or clogged pores, stem from a lack of hydration.
Rule #1 reads: If you’re buying a moisturizer (and no one should really miss it in their daily routine), make sure it contains water (aqua); without water, the cream has no way to moisturize. If your skin is dry, a moisturizer is a key, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a greasy cream that you use daily. Visit a specialist. Their first advice would definitely be to moisturize! If not, the second one will be.
Rule #2: Think about your whole body, not just your face, and apply a daily cream on your neck and neckline. They’ll thank you later. The same goes for cleansing and applying serums. Consider your neck and neckline as part of your face.
It’s not just about applying cream to your face every day, it’s about your whole body, both outside and inside. Keep an eye on your daily water intake and supplement with the right vitamins, which you can read about in the previous article The real struggle in knowing the right vitamins.
Hydration and hair
Application of masks or regular or irregular hair wraps is really desirable, especially on summer holidays when hair and scalp are exposed to a lot of change, direct sun, salt sea water, chlorine or high humidity.
However, there are hair products that have a UV protective filter, let’s call it hair sunscreen – thank God! It protects hair from the sun and therefore drying it out due to its exposure.
Beach waves are sexy, but up to a certain point. Once the hair starts to suffer and it gets dry and frizzy, it tends to tangle. That’s not pleasant and it starts to get pretty far from sexy. Or the hair starts to do things the same way skin does when it’s lacking in hydration – it starts to get greasy or form dandruff. Again…. definitely not sexy.
Is eyelash hydration also important?
Just like hair, lips and skin, eyelashes need to be hydrated. That’s why water is part of the Spacelash serum formula. As mentioned at the beginning of the article – there is no moisturizer without water. Thanks to it together with vitamin D3 and biopeptides, it supports eyelash growth, nourishment and renewal. After 6-8 weeks of using the serum, you will notice a visible difference. In very folksy terms, just as plants grow through regular watering, so eyelashes get the dose of water and nourishment they need to grow and renew themselves.
Water retention in the body does not mean overhydration
One big and important topic, typical of the female body, is water retention. It is important not to confuse it with hyper fluids intake. Water retention of the body is not caused by drinking too much water. It is caused by improper functions of the body due to excessive intake of salt, sugar, alcohol or acidic foods. This can lead to various diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, poor functioning of the kidneys, etc. This is hopefully not the case for any of our readers. However, if you are bothered by swollen ankles, face, or the eye area, we recommend you to go for a lymphatic massage to get to know more about your body. Massage is very enjoyable and for some people it can be very helpful, for example in directing their lifestyle in the harmony with their body.Regular exercise, a healthy diet including the right amount of vitamins, good quality sleep and mental health that is complemented by adequate hydration, form a nice and strong base! And that is always a good and reliable place to build on.
And let’s not forget selftreatment, which we in Rimia really love – sauna, body and facial massages, time spent with a friends, family, but also with yourself :).
Make hydration your must-have routine, it really is.
